March 10, 2015, Tuesday

We drove up on Mt. Charleston, west of Las Vegas, so Scott could play in the snow.

It's pretty up there.  Actual trees, almost like Montana!

Scott walked cautiously in the snow at first.  It was a novel experience for him!

There were a lot of snowmen in the woods along the road.  Scott wanted to stop and look at them all.

Here's another snowman.

We sat on the deck at the ski area and watched people skiing and snowboarding.

Scott and I with a snowman.

Scott loved this one.  He gave it a hug.

Scott hugging another snowman.  This one has a tuft of pine needles for hair.
Nice touch!

This is my snowman.  I think he's cute!

Scott and his snowman.

He was so excited and overwhelmed.  He kept laughing and talking about snowmen.

Now he's posing with my snowman.

Here I am with my snowman again.
I like this picture better than the other one.

Grandpa and Scott discuss ownership of Scott's snowman!

"Mine!" says Scott!

Me and Steven with Scott's snowman.

Scott picked out an Iron Man fishing pole at Sportsman's Warehouse on our way home
through Las Vegas.

This picture should be above the last one.  It's walking in the door of Sportsman's warehouse.

March 9, 2015, Monday

Rode bicycles into Overton today.  34 miles round trip.
Steven's bicycle and the cargo trailer.

Scott wore his robot costume again today.

And another picture of Scott on the Weehoo trailer.

This is on the way home.  He's got his feet up on the bar.

Steven following along behind the sprawled Scott.

This came in the mail today.  Barbara crocheted this totally amazing
afghan for me!

Scott and toy boat at the spring.

A wildflower at Redstone picnic area.

Steven, our dog Odie, and Scott.

Scott likes to climb up into the caves and holes at Redstone Picnic area.

There's nice soft sand in the bottom of this one.

Steven holds up the wall while watching Scott play!

The scenery is beautiful.

Another view.

Cool red rocks.  Sandstone, which is easy to climb on.

A hole in the rocks.

My wonderful amazing husband.

Grandpa shows Scott how to climb up.

Scott climbs up.  A minute later the dog scrambled up like it was nothing!

Scott had so much fun out there.

Just a shot of a 'cave'.

Looking through a crack in the rocks.

Lizard in the sun.

Scott tests out another cave.

More beautiful scenery.

Monkey boy.

This one had nice deep sand in it.

The view from up there.

Scott made a "sand angel" in the sand.

Critter tracks in the sand.

Comfy, Scott?

Me.

Steven and Scott on the hike back to the car.

This is one of my favorite places to hike.  It's so pretty here.

Back at the camper, Scott was walking around the yard in 5-gallon buckets!
