Sunday November 30th

The picnic table at our campsite made a great place for Steven to work as he
cut up propane bottles to make the woodstove for the motorhome.

Scott always has to be in the thick of things as steven works.  So we got him safety glasses,
ear phones, and he also has a hand-held welding mask.  We do keep him at a safe distance.

Steven welding the hinges for the stove door.

Scott was standing on the other bench watching.

While Steven was doing something else, Scott played with the welder.  The power was off, but Scott makes his own sound effects as he pretends to weld!

Scott opens and closes the door.  The tank will sit on it's side, but Steven had it upright
while working on it.

Scott copies how Steven uses the wire brush to clean welding spatter off
the tank.

Steven strapped the tank to the bench while he welded the stove pipe outlet at the back
of the stove.

Scott was amazed that he could look down inside
the tank now!

These are lemons.  REAL lemons, the size of oranges, juicy and flavorful!  Unlike those little lemons they sell up in Montana with no flavor and hardly any juice!  (The gallon jug of milk is to show scale).
